A new look for King Fieldhouse

TECHNOLOGY MEETS DESIGN

King Fieldhouse got a major upgrade in the summer of 2020 with a renovation that included an all new high-performance surface. The space is the most widely-used facility by Illinois College athletics. It is home to indoor track & field and serves as a practice facility for all teams during inclement weather. It is open to all students to use for recreation throughout the year and it houses intramural sports in the winter.

Four rubberized courts and two batting cages are also available for use within the facility. King Fieldhouse is named in honor of Arthur K. and Norma King whose generosity made its construction possible. Dr. King served as
a trustee from 1985-2002 and devoted service to IC as the chair of the business affairs, academic and student affairs committees.
