Calmese studied physics as an IC student and is currently the CEO of ADDMAN Engineering. He also supports the College by serving on the Illinois College Alumni Association Board of Directors.

“As we think about how kids will have to learn in the next 20 years, it’s just not fair to leave that burden exclusively to the students when the College had such an outstanding impact on all of us, certainly me included. I think giving back is just one way of saying ‘thank you’ and another way of building some legacy — not just for yourself, but for these kids to continue to pay it forward. In my mind, it’s all part of the same idea of giving back to the community.”
