Giving that grows: Thank you for your loyal generosity each year

Dan ’59 and Edith Drum Castrodale ’59
In November, Scott Belobrajdic ’86 met with Dan ’59 and Edith Drum Castrodale ’59 in Rochester, Minnesota. Married for 65
years, the couple has loyally given to their alma mater for more than 35 years.

Five years ago, the Castrodales increased their annual support, becoming leaders in IC’s giving community as members of Illinois College Society. Dan remarked that he and Edith, “Feel good about their increased level of giving and enjoy the regular updates they are receiving about college activities.”

Dan added that they “feel like royalty” based on the increasedle vel of attention and gratitude they are receiving from Illinois College.

After graduating from IC, Edith taught ninth grade English in Dundee, Illinois, and Dan joined the Navy at the suggestion of the late IC physics professor, George Horton Sr.
