Inspiring Achievement will launch students toward success, ignite leadership and learning and make an immediate impact on the College. The Campaign is already impacting the College. It’s evident in our world-class facilities, our growing academic programs and expert faculty and in the achievements of our talented students. However, there is still work to be done. You can help extend our extraordinary legacy into the future by joining us.
The $50 million comprehensive capital campaign focuses on initiatives that will have a major impact on the future of Illinois College and advance its mission in several key areas.
When the Campaign publicly launched, over $36 million had been raised, representing 72 percent of the goal. More than 100 members of the Illinois College Society celebrated the Campaign launch at the Gala, an annual event for the College’s premier annual giving circle which brings together visionary donors in IC’s philanthropic community with College leadership. Over the summer, President Farley traveled on a Midwest Tour with stops throughout Illinois and in Missouri and Indiana.
AN INVESTMENT TOWARD INSPIRING ACHIEVEMENT WILL:
- LAUNCH STUDENTS TOWARD SUCCESS with $14 million for life-defining experiences that include global study, internships, and student-faculty research.
- IGNITE LEARNING AND LEADERSHIP with $10 million for 21st-century learning environments, $4 million for faculty support and $2 million for improvements to athletics facilities.
- RECRUIT AND RETAIN STUDENTS with $15 million for scholarships.
- MAKE AN IMMEDIATE IMPACT with $5 million in direct student support through gifts to the Annual Fund.
