Dr. Axel D. Steuer H’13
During his tenure, Steuer prioritized campus beautification and environmental stewardship, collaborating with Starhill Forest Arboretum and closing Mound Avenue to unify the campus. His contributions to the Lower Quad and green spaces helped shape a more connected, eco-conscious community.

He helped rewrite the College’s Mission and Core Values Statements, emphasizing ethics and inclusion. His academic legacy includes the renovation of Whipple Hall, creating the Al Habtoor Leadership Center to empower future leaders.
