Building foundations for success

Collin Brunstein ’25
For Collin Brunstein ’25, Illinois College was more than a place to compete; it was where
he discovered his voice, his purpose and the strength of a community that believed in him.

Brunstein credits donor generosity with making his IC education possible. That support allowed him to thrive on and off the field, helping lead the Blueboys to their first-ever Midwest Conference football championship and shaping the values of leadership, resilience and time management that continue to guide him today.

“Without financial support, and without IC, I wouldn’t be the man I am today,” he says.

Since graduating, Brunstein has pursued his dream of professional football, training across the country, competing in the FCS Tropical Bowl and earning an exclusive invitation to the Los Angeles Chargers rookie minicamp.

Your generosity made Collin’s journey possible and proves that every gift helps build a foundation for students to realize their goals and carry Illinois College with them wherever they go.
