The IC Fund 2023-24

Be a part of every student’s story.

The IC Fund is a bridge between YOU (members of our wonderful community of alumni, parents, local businesses and friends) AND current students at Illinois College. It allows anyone to be a part of what is happening at Illinois College.

When you make an annual gift to the IC Fund, you are a part of each Illinois College student’s story. You are opening doors, inspiring achievement and empowering students to make a difference in the world.

We apologize that a number of mailings went out with an incorrect response card. If you would like an updated response card, please call the Alumni House at 217.245.3046 or email development@ic.edu. You can also print a response card on demand here

What areas does my gift impact?

Here are some things you help Illinois College do with your gift to the IC Fund:

  • Attract expert faculty.
  • Develop innovative academic programs and strong athletic teams.
  • Maintain the beautiful campus.
  • Expand hands-on learning opportunities such as internships.
  • Support student organizations and literary societies.
  • Provide annual scholarship awards to hundreds of students.

What if I can't make a large gift?

The value of the IC Fund is that it allows us to do together what very few of us could do alone.

When you make a gift to the IC Fund (whether it’s $20 or $10,000) you are part of something bigger. You are funding the scholarship that allows a student to become the first in their family to earn a degree or the internship that shapes another’s career path. That’s a powerful thing to be able to accomplish with $20 a month.

It takes a whole community of special people to make all of those little learning moments (that add up to a life-changing education) possible.

How can I learn more about the students who my gifts are impacting?

Each year when students are graduating, they share stories of how their experiences at IC have prepared them for their future professions and lives. Access to faculty experts and mentors, small class sizes, a multi-faceted approach to academics, and hands-on learning prepares them with the skills to succeed in any 21st-century career. You can read these Graduate READY stories here.

I've made my annual gift, but how can I make a greater impact?

Alumni and friends at Illinois College are always looking for more ways to get involved. You can volunteer, mentor a student, host an internship, refer a student, share our posts and messages on social media and within your network.

Make sure you are getting communication from the Office of Advancement and Alumni Engagement by updating your contact information here.
