NCLEX-RN Pass Rates
NCLEX is short for the National Council Licensure Exam. The NCLEX-RN test focuses on analysis and application, as students demonstrate their ability to use the nursing knowledge acquired in the IC Nursing Program. The test measures the ability of students to use critical thinking skills when they make nursing judgments in simulated situations.
Nursing students successfully graduating from a CCNE accredited school are eligible to take the national NCLEX exam for nurse licensure. Graduates may choose to take the certification exam within the state where their nursing school is located or apply to any other state in the United States to take the exam and become licensed within that state. Information on NCLEX licensure for nurses is found at nclex.com.
