I enjoy working with students outside of the classroom, helping them to develop and investigate their own research questions. My current research students are using methods developed by forensic anthropologists to learn more about the human skeletons housed in IC's anatomy lab. My students are taking measurements and creating biological profiles of these skeletons, estimating their sex, age-at-death, and ancestry, to try to learn more about who these people were, and where they came from.
