Enrollment Checklist :: First-Year Student
- Login to the IC Student Portal through Single Sign-On
Set up your login information, security questions and authentication by going to login.ic.edu and using the login credentials that you can find at admission.ic.edu/apply/status.
- Set up your IC Email and Security
Each student receives a Gmail account that is permanent as long as the campus is using Google services. Go to login.ic.edu and select Gmail.
Contact the IT Help Desk at servicedesk@ic.edu or call 217.245.3416 if you have issues logging in.
- File your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
Once you have filed your FAFSA the federal government will send your information to all schools you listed when you filed at a designated date (information coming soon), once we receive your information we will put together your financial aid offer.
- Join the IC ZeeMee Community
Join the new student community on ZeeMee. Download the app, learn more about IC, and start connecting with other students who are also interested in IC.

- Complete your housing application >> Applications will open in FEBRUARY<<
Reserve your place in the residence halls with the housing application. Go to login.ic.edu, select “Illinois College Residential Life” from the main page and then select “Applications and Housing Application - New Students Fall 2025.”

- Choose an IC Meal Plan from options you can find here.
If you are not planning to live on campus, go to login.ic.edu, select “Illinois College Residential Life” from the main page, then select “Housing Exemption Request Form.”
If you plan to commute you can choose an IC Commuter Meal Plan from options you can find here.

- Register for READY, Set, Go! Registration Day
Register to participate in one of our READY, Set, Go! Registration days on Saturday, April 26, Friday, June 13 or Friday, June 27. Pick your classes, meet your advisor and connect with future classmates.
- Complete required placement exams
Placement exams are required for certain classes, including math and foreign languages.
- Go to login.ic.edu and select Connect2 (use your network login and password to sign in).
- Select the “New Students” tab and choose “Placement Exams” from the left hand menu and follow the instructions. If you have questions please contact your Admission Counselor.
Exams must be completed one week prior to your READY, Set, Go! registration day.
- Complete your First-Year course preferences >> Will open in APRIL<<
For your course preferences, you will choose the five first-year seminars and eight other general courses that interest you the most. Please list them in the order of preference.
- To create your tentative fall schedule, go to login.ic.edu and select Connect2 (use your network login and password to sign in).
- Under the “New Students” tab, select "First-Year Seminar and Course Preferences" on the left to choose your preferences. You’ll finalize your schedule with a registration advisor at READY, Set, Go! For assistance, contact your Admission Counselor.
- Complete the Criminal & Disciplinary History Disclosure Form
Every student admitted to Illinois College must submit complete and accurate supplemental information about their criminal history and any disciplinary actions at previous educational institutions to finalize the enrollment process. CLICK HERE to complete the form.
- Complete and submit Health and Immunizations Forms
Download your health forms below. To return the forms, upload them at login.ic.edu in the Chesley Health and Wellness Center app.
- Submit your student ID photo
Upload a photo on the Admission portal. Please avoid hats, sunglasses, and group photos.
- Do you need information on Academic Accommodations?
