Illinois College recently announced the addition of new programs in actuarial science, agribusiness, business administration, criminal justice, dual languages, editing and publishing, public history, health sciences and sports management as part of IC’s continual strategic plan for sustainability and growth.

In Illinois, where budgets and programs are continually being cut from public colleges and universities, Illinois College is not only developing new educational programs, but investing in students with a promise to cover Illinois Monetary Award Program (MAP) grants and guaranteeing graduation in four years with the College’s new Finish in 4 program.

These degrees and programs meet the needs of current and prospective students. Faculty adopted these new programs after analyzing trends in education, career viability, potential student interest and current enrollment. They build upon existing College strengths and bring new areas of expertise to campus supported by the elements of a traditional liberal arts education. Rising sophomores and incoming first-year students are eligible to enroll in this group of new programs, which will begin this fall.
