American Ninja Warrior star to speak at leadership event for high school students

Illinois College Center for Student Involvement is hosting “Building High School Leaders,” an educational session for students grades 9-12, on Sunday, April 8, at 1:30-3:30 p.m. in the Bruner Fitness and Recreation Center.

The program is part of IC’s True Blue Institute and will feature Hoan Do, who appeared on NBC’s hit series, American Ninja Warrior. His engaging style and ability to share important life lessons in a way that resonates with people has earned him the Verizon Wireless Motivator Award and the title Best Youth Mentor by the International Examiner. Do will speak about his leadership experiences and advise students on strategies for overcoming challenges to succeed in school and in life.

Registration is available at www.ic.edu/tbi. The cost to attend is $20 and includes drinks, snacks and a True Blue Institute T-shirt.
