Tours
The museum is currently open to group tours and visits by appointment. Visits by local and traveling organizations and classes help us share the museums's mission with audiences from near and far and lifelong learners of all ages. The museum is excited to be an annual partner with the Jacksonville Middle School Historic Walking tour in Jacksonville, Illinois.
Outreach
The museum offers a free outreach program for school groups K-5 titled, "Congress in the Classroom." This program helps meet Illinois Learning Standards for Social Studies. Program length is typically 30-45 minutes, depending on grade and size. The program is offered through local classrooms in and near Morgan County. Interested teachers and educators can contact the Curator to learn more about the program or to schedule a visit.
