Facility upgrades ignite leadership and learning.
- Inspiring Achievement raised $7.6 million for 21st-century learning environments that prepare students for competitive careers in growing fields.
- Among many updates to create flexible, technology-rich learning environments is the complete transformation of Crispin Hall, which will reopen in 2023. Crispin will be the new home of several STEM programs, including IC’s new engineering and neuroscience programs, the addition of which was made possible by the renovation.
- The Campaign raised $3.5 million for athletic facilities on campus, supporting more than 500 student-athletes and their fans each year.
- Since updated athletic facilities opened, IC student-athletes have brought home three conference titles and seven NCAA titles, and made 20 conference and national championship appearances.
“Students don’t picture themselves being the best they can be in a space that’s outdated.”

“We have to show prospective and current students spaces that help them justify their time and energy and commitment to Illinois College. We have to be able to show them what modern teaching and learning look like.”

Professor of Psychology
YOUR GIFT MATTERS :: Illinois College must offer contemporary learning spaces that attract, engage and inspire students, and give world-class faculty the facilities they need to teach and conduct research. Because student athletes make up around half of the student population on campus, outstanding athletic facilities play a key part in recruiting and retaining students who will be competitive and engaged on and off the field.
