Bio

Dr. Murray is passionate about engineering education and culturally responsive and sustaining pedagogies. She actively participates in community engagement. She is a member of the Society of Women Engineers and the National Society of Black Engineers. Awarded the Kern Family Foundation Engineering Unleashed Fellowship, she created engineering educational experiences that prepare students to be entrepreneurial minded. She offers workshops on sustainability at national conferences and additive manufacturing workshops in high schools to excite women about careers in engineering.  ASEE frequently publishes Dr. Murray's articles on engineering education.
