Illinois College extends its sympathy on the death of his father, Enoch “Nick” Scull Jr., on July 19, 2021. Enoch was a decorated World War II veteran who received the Order of Merit medal from the ambassador of Luxembourg in June. Gov. J.B. Pritzker declared June 11 Nick Scull Recognition Day in the state of Illinois for his service at the Battle of the Bulge during WWII.
