Residential Life

IC students often describe our campus as “welcoming and friendly” which is a big reason that 86% of our students choose to live on campus.

  • Most of our students choose to live on campus during their four years at Illinois College.

  • Nine centrally located residence halls, 21 apartments, and seven campus-owned houses are available for qualifying students.

  • All rooms come with two full sets of furniture; bed frame, XL mattress, dresser, closet or wardrobe, desk, and desk chair.

  • Two on-campus dining locations, a convenience store, and a Starbucks coffee shop as well as a variety of flexible meal plans will meet your needs.

  • All residences are air-conditioned with access to free in-hall printing and free laundry. Students also have access to a Netflix-like platform called IC Movies, all through their IC network login.

  • Common lounges offer big-screen televisions, ping pong tables, and pool tables.

  •  All residence halls have kitchens for cooking your own food, except for Crampton Hall and Turner Hall.

  • Supportive resident assistants act as guides, resources, and role models and host residence hall programs to promote the campus community.
