Follow these steps to apply to IC:
- Apply for Admission
- Complete your application for admission at admission.ic.edu, coalitionforcollegeaccess.org or www.commonapp.org.
- Submit School Report to high school counselor
- Submit Official High School Transcript
- High school transcripts must include coursework completed through at least junior year
- Submit Test Scores (ACT or SAT)
- Standardized test scores are not required for admission to Illinois College. The admission committee will closely review the strength of high school course selection, G.P.A., essay and overall involvement for those wishing not to submit test scores.
- Students enrolling at Illinois College, must submit test scores prior to registration to assist in appropriate course placement.
- Illinois College codes: ACT: 1034 or SAT and TOEFL: 1315
- Home school students are required to submit test scores for admission.

- Academic Record
- 4 years of English/Language Arts
- 3-4 years of Mathematics with Algebra 2 minimum
- 2 years of lab science
- 2 years of social science (including U.S. History)
- 2 years of foreign language preferred if offered at high school
- Students are highly encouraged to take academic honors, AP, and/or IB courses.
2. SAT and/or ACT scores

*Students from Indiana are required to have Core 40 or Academic Honors curriculum.

Final Transcripts
Enrolling students must submit an official record indicating the date of graduation from a secondary school approved by a state or regional accrediting agency or an official GED diploma or prior to the first day of class. Students who have not submitted final transcripts to the College will not be allowed to register for the second semester. The final documents are considered official and final when received directly from the institution either through postal mail or through an electronic transcript service and they contain a school official signature and graduation/diploma date. The Office of Admission will make contact with the school or agency when they suspect that submitted documents are incorrect or fraudulent.
