- You will have access to some of the most competitive internships. Recent internships have been done at Merrill Lynch, Morgan County Housing Authority, AG Edwards, the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis, Jacksonville Savings Bank, DOT Foods, and Citibank.
- In the finance program, you will be encouraged to join The Illinois College Warren Billhartz Student Investment Club, where you will invest real money to see firsthand the effects the market has on investment portfolios. The student group also takes educational trips to businesses, such as Archer Daniel Midland's headquarters and Berkshire Hathaway's annual shareholder meeting in Omaha, Nebraska.

Outcomes
Finance alumni have found success working for some of the most sought-after companies and organizations in the financial world. Graduates are also prepared with the pre-professional training needed for graduate study in finance, management, public administration, and law.
According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the demand for financial analysts is projected to grow by 5 percent from 2019 to 2029, which is a faster rate than average. Growing financial products, emerging markets throughout the world, and overall economic growth are all expected to contribute to growth in the field, making it a valuable degree for your future.
