You should plan to be at Illinois College for all your exams, so make sure to plan your end-of-semester travel accordingly and to inform your family of this expectation.
According to College policy, exams are to be taken when scheduled. Faculty members cannot schedule alternate exam times or make exemptions to the schedule. Any requests for exceptions to this schedule, if absolutely necessary, must be approved by Dean Dane Wendell (dean.faculty@ic.edu) You should make requests as early in the semester, preferably within the first ten days of the semester. In your email to Dean Corey, please include information about the relevant classes, finals times, professors involved, and final assessment format.

The time of day of a class meets determines the exam time. For example, classes meeting Mondays or Tuesdays at 9:00 have the same exam time. The time for an exam is set by meeting times of the main/lecture portion of the class, not the labs. This schedule is developed to prevent conflicts; please double check with your professors if you believe you have two exams scheduled at the same time.
